Applications Available for Ohio Chautauqua 2017

Applications are now available for communities who would like to partner with Ohio Humanities to present Ohio Chautauqua 2017: The Natural World.

Presented by Ohio Humanities with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Ohio Chautauqua is a five-day residential program combining live dramatic performances, music, education, and audience interaction in an exciting cultural event the entire community can enjoy. All workshops and performances are FREE.

img-oh-ctq-content-2As part of Toward a Beautiful Ohio, Ohio Humanities’ three-year initiative focusing on the environment, Ohio Chautauqua 2017: The Natural World features the stories of historic figures, such as Teddy Roosevelt, Marie Curie, and Chief Cornstalk, whose life work helps frame the stories of Ohioans and their relationship to the natural world.
