Become a Conversation Starter

Luminaries are monthly sustainers and donors who have given for the past 5 or more consecutive years.

Advocates are donors who give between $1,000 and $9,999.

Champions are donors who give $10,000 and up.

All Conversation Starters receive acknowledgement in our annual impact report and on our virtual donor wall, a unique gift that celebrates Ohio’s stories, and invitations to virtual and in-person Conversation Starters events. Advocates and Champions also receive an annual state-of-the-humanities luncheon with Executive Director Rebecca Brown Asmo.

Spark Society celebrates donors who include Ohio Humanities in their estate plans through making a charitable bequest through a will; designating Ohio Humanities as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy, retirement plan fund, or DAF; or including Ohio Humanities in another charitable gift vehicle as part of their estate and financial planning.
