Join Ohio Humanities for the 19th annual tour of Ohio Chautauqua!

Step back in time and come face to face with history during Ohio Chautauqua 2017 as we explore The Natural World.  This summer, Ohio Chautauqua will travel to four historic communities:

June 6-10: Burton
June 13-17: Clifton
June 20-24: Warren
June 27-July 1: Milan

This five-day community program combines living history performances, music, and education, with audience participation for a one-of-a-kind cultural event the entire community will enjoy.  Ohio Chautauqua is a nostalgic nod to a similar 19th century program established on the shores of New York’s Chautauqua Lake. Daytime activities will feature stimulating adult programs and hands-on workshops for youth hosted by local community organizations. Each evening, family and friends gather as live music fills the air. Afterward, a talented performer appears on stage, bringing a historic figure to life through personal stories and historic detail.

All events are free. Additional program details are available at OhioHumanities.org/Ohio-Chautauqua/2017-Tour/. | Keep up with Ohio Chautauqua at Facebook.com/OhioHumanities.
