Everyday Humanities: Gender and Superheros

The Everyday Humanities series, sponsored by the Way Public Library of Perrysburg, and in collaboration with the University of Toledo’s Humanities Institute, presents: Gender and Superheroes. Speaker Jeffrey Brown, PhD., will explore gender and body issues present in film and in popular culture. The public is welcome to come participate in the conversation. It is June 12, 2017, at the Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg. The 45-minute talk is free and will begin at 7 p.m. Brown is an associate professor of popular culture and critical studies at Bowling Green State University.
