Learn how to preserve the stories of your community with the Oral History Institute project. Ohio Humanities and the Columbus Metropolitan Library are seeking civic organizations and community members interested in collecting and preserving oral histories about race and ethnicity in Columbus. A collaborative initiative, the Oral History Institute will hold a hands-on workshop to the methods, ethics, and logistics in collecting oral histories. It will be held at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Main Branch, 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, April 29, 2017. However, today, April 14, 2017, is the deadline to register.
