Columbus Oral History Workshop, Last Day to Enroll

Legacy of Race and Ethnicity Oral History Training Workshop

Learn how to preserve the stories of your community with the Oral History Institute project.  Ohio Humanities and the Columbus Metropolitan Library are seeking civic organizations and community members interested in collecting and preserving oral histories about race and ethnicity in Columbus. A collaborative initiative, the Oral History Institute will hold a hands-on workshop to the methods, ethics, and logistics in collecting oral histories.  It will be held at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Main Branch, 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus,  April 29, 2017. However, today, April 14, 2017, is the deadline to register.  For more information, send an email to jimc@ohiohumanities.org with your name, contact information, and reason for attending. Registrants may also call 614-461-7802. A $25 fee covers workshop materials and lunch.
