Everyday Humanities: Woodworth’s Wishful History of the War of 1812

The Way Public Library, Perrysburg, will conclude its 2016 Everyday Humanities lecture series and kickoff its 2017 series with two exciting scholar presentations:
December 8, 2016 | R. Bruce Way, PhD, will lead the talk, Samuel Woodworth’s Wishful History of the War of 1812. Way is an associate professor of history and foreign languages with the University of Toledo.
January 18, 2017 | John Sarnecki, PhD, will lead the talk, The Ethics of Preserving Antiquities in Wartime. Sarnecki is an associate professor and department chair of philosophy and religious studies with the University of Toledo.
The 30-45 minute talks are free and begin at 7 p.m. in the Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg. Parking is free.
