“Witches, Daemonology & Macbeth”
Dr. Timothy Francisco, a Shakespeare scholar, will lecture on the historical individual, Macbeth, and Shakespeare's play, Macbeth. The lecture will focus on the prevailing political prejudice about witchcraft which shaped the play and bears little resemblance to the historic events. Learn why Shakespeare injected witchcraft into his play.
