Greater Midwest Programmers Retreat

Columbus, Ohio — July 25-26, 2019

July 25-26, 2019 Ohio Humanities will host a retreat in Columbus for Midwest Humanities Council program staff.

Humanities Council program staff are cordially invited to a two-day conference on July 25th and 26th, for peer-led facilitated conversations on public humanities programming, grantmaking, leadership, and collaboration. On July 27th, there will be an optional cultural heritage field trip to the World Heritage-nominated Ancient Ohio Mound Builder sites in nearby Newark. Program staff from councils beyond the Midwest are also welcome to attend.

Retreat venues will showcase the best of Columbus: the renowned German Village heritage neighborhood, the Ohio Statehouse, and Landgrant Brewery in the up-and-coming Franklinton arts district.
