Summer 2008 Issue

OHIO CHAUTAUQUA 2008 Inventors INVENTORS & INNOVATORS proved to be another incredible season
of living history programs. In Lebanon, New Concord, Westerville, Port Clinton, and Gallipolis, thousands of people were touched by these educational and entertaining cultural events.

The Ohio Humanities Council thanks the National Endowment for the Humanities We The People initiative and The Ohio State University Humanities Institute for their support of these programs across the state. Our thanks to The Ohio State University Extension and OSU’s Humanities Institute for advertising in the Companion Reader. Thank you to the Ramada Inn (New Concord), Baymont Inn & Suites (Westerville), and Our Guest Motel (Port Clinton) for their support during the tour. A special thanks to the Super 8 Motel in Gallipolis for completely underwriting the lodging of the troupe during their stay in Gallipolis.

The Ohio Humanities Council and the Ohio Chautauqua staff and troupe also greatly appreciate the support of all local volunteers, sponsors, media, and audiences in each host community. They helped bring about the great success of Ohio Chautauqua this summer. Some of our audience members across the state commented on their experiences at Ohio Chautauqua this summer.

OHIO CHAUTAUQUA

Inventors & Innovators will tour the state again
next summer when OHIO CHAUTAUQUA 2009
