Damian Bowerman is a Master of Fine Arts candidate at The Ohio State University. An accomplished actor, he also has extensive experience as a teacher and director of student productions throughout Ohio. Damian conducted an intense, directed study of John D. Rockefeller’s life for his performance in Ohio Chautauqua 2000. In his first-person Speakers Bureau portrayals, Damian can discuss various aspects of Rockefeller’s life—from the deep influence of his Baptist religion to the creation of Standard Oil to his love of golf.

    George Kalbouss
is Professor of Russian Literature at The Ohio State University. He is aHope popular speaker and frequently consults on cultural, business, and political issues concerning the former Soviet Union. Dr. Kalbouss’ Speakers Bureau presentations include a video exploration of “Russians in the Movies” and a travelogue that helps interpret Russian art, culture, and worldviews. To schedule a presentation, please contact George Kalbouss at: (614) 487-1531 or kalbouss.1@osu.edu

She works to provide a greater understanding of the importance of African-American women in the development of the United States. In addition to first-person performances of “A Moment in History” with both Sojourner Truth and Harriet Tubman, Marie also presents a collage of more modern heroes in “Voices of Famous Black Women.”
