Accepting or Redlining the Dead? Green Lawn Cemetery as Crossroads

Through a grant from Ohio Humanities, Green Lawn Cemetery Association, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and Columbus Landmarks Foundation are presenting a virtual panel discussion focusing on the various migrations and immigrations in Columbus history as reflected at Green Lawn. Panelists include:
* Toby Brief, Executive Director, Columbus Jewish Historical Society, Board member of the Jewish Cemetery Association.
*Nettie Ferguson, Franklin County Genealogical Society-African American Interest Group. Ms. Ferguson is currently researching African American burials and burial practices at Green Lawn.
* Leticia Vazquez-Smith, President, Latino Arts of Humanities, founder of Columbus’ Day of the Dead celebration.
