Humanities at HomeWe asked Ohio Humanities Speakers Bureau scholars and past program partners to share what they are currently reading and how these books bring them comfort and prompt reflection. In addition to these videos, we will also share a poems from Ohio poets, and other content.

Here’s the first installation, from Lori Faust, librarian at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, who talks about The Body: A Guide for Occupants, by Bill Bryson. Lori describes why she finds comfort in Bryson’s exploration of the science behind the bodies we occupy and accounts of medical discovery and myth-busting.

Thanks, Lori!
