Women’s Suffrage Speakers Series

Ohio Humanities invites you to join us in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment, which granted American women the right to vote. Every Tuesday beginning July 14, a virtual presentation and conversation with Ohio Humanities speakers and scholars will explore topics that place the history of women’s suffrage in the context of race, protest, rhetoric, women running for office, and more. Join scholars in discussion about the past and how the complexity of this movement remains relevant today.

These events are free and open to the public but require registration. Visit our Eventbrite registration page to register for access to the virtual event links! To learn more about the event, please contact Samantha Chase, schase@ohiohumanities.org.
