Pathways- Working 9 to 5: Ohio Women’s Push for Equality in the Workplace, by Missy G. Flinn
When The American Film Institute revealed its full slate of films being presented for the AFI Docs 2020 Film Festival, they help up “American Factory” Oscar winners Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar and their newest film, “9to5: The Story of a Movement.”
Ohio Humanities provided early critical funding to “9to5: The Story of a Movement,” which chronicles the 1970s movement for gender equality in the workplace. The documentary was a featured film at the American Film Institute’s AFI Docs 2020 Film Festival, which took place digitally this year.
The first issue of Pathways magazine (SP2017) featured an article on the 9to5 movement in Ohio, which played an important role in the national movement for workplace equality.
