Media Grants

Ohio Humanities reviews media grant proposals twice each year. Applicants should submit a full draft online before the deadline.

Deadline: February 15, 2022 — Drafts submitted by January 14, 2022 for projects beginning after May 15, 2022

Deadline: August 15, 2022 — Drafts submitted by July 15, 2022 for projects beginning after November 15, 2022

Media Grants follow the general Ohio Humanities funding principals but also have special guidelines of their own. When applying for a Media Grant make sure to thoroughly review both of the following:

1. The Grant Guidelines page will explain Ohio Humanities general funding guidelines.
2. Because media projects differ significantly from other grant applications, Media Grants have specific requirements of their own. The Media Grant Guidelines page explains these differences and how to create a proper budget and project narrative to create a competitive proposal.
