Support Ohio Humanities

Thank you for supporting the humanities in Ohio! Your gift helps Ohio Humanities share stories, spark conversations, and inspire ideas in all 88 counties. We rely on individuals like you to host programs and award grants that support storytellers statewide, from museums to journalists to documentary filmmakers.

As a supporter of Ohio Humanities, you know the power of Ohio's stories. They give us a deeper understanding of what Ohio is, was, and could be. They remind us of who we are and what we love and worry about living here. They connect us as engaged Ohioans, informed citizens, and empathetic humans.

Thank you for making a gift to Ohio Humanities and supporting Ohio’s stories.

Fill out the form below to make a one-time or recurring donation. Recurring donations allow us to plan and better support our partner organizations. Whatever you can give today, we are grateful for your donation!

Ohio Humanities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your gift is tax-deductible.

All gifts received during between May 1 and May 31, 2024, will be part of our Marching on this May campaign in support of the Lincoln School Marchers project.

Become a Conversation Starter

Luminaries are monthly sustainers and donors who have given for the past 5 or more consecutive years.

Advocates are donors who give between $1,000 and $9,999.

Champions are donors who give $10,000 and up.

All Conversation Starters receive acknowledgement in our annual impact report and on our virtual donor wall, a unique gift that celebrates Ohio’s stories, and invitations to virtual and in-person Conversation Starters events. Advocates and Champions also receive an annual state-of-the-humanities luncheon with Executive Director Rebecca Brown Asmo.

Spark Society celebrates donors who include Ohio Humanities in their estate plans through making a charitable bequest through a will; designating Ohio Humanities as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy, retirement plan fund, or DAF; or including Ohio Humanities in another charitable gift vehicle as part of their estate and financial planning.
