Stained Glass, the Language of Light

November 18, 2023 @ 10:00 am 3:00 pm

Did you know Columbus played a pivotal role in the U.S. stained-glass industry? Don’t miss the chance to explore stained glass history, science, and evolution, gain insights into stained window restoration, and delve into case studies of completed projects.

Our featured speaker, Megan McElfresh, Executive Director of the Stained-Glass Association of America and a respected third-generation stained-glass artisan, will present. Following her presentation, enjoy guided tours of two stunning downtown churches and Green Lawn Abbey.

The Stained-Glass Association of America, established over a century ago in Columbus, was created to promote and safeguard the art of architectural stained glass. Its journal, in publication since 1906, serves as a valuable resource for historians and enthusiasts, documenting the technical, artistic, and educational aspects of architectural glass.
